Zonta International 10th Biennial District Conference
 
The 10th biennial Zonta International Conference was held in Wellington 2nd-4th October 2009. The programme was an interesting mix of business and social events
 
- Opening at Parliment hosted by the Minister of Womens Affairs, Hon. Pansy Wong
 
- Celebratory dinner at Te Papa ma
 
 
- breakfast with 'Go Red for Women" - the New Zealand Heart Foundations women heart health initiative
 
- Impressive key note speakers
 
- Skills based workshops (advocacy, financial literacy, migrant perspectives etc)
 
- Zonta Award winners
 
- Essential business sessions

Hosted by the Zonta Club of Manawatu, this breakfast will be held at Hotel Coachman 7am - 8.30am, Guest speaker; Dr Jackie Blue, MP and Chair of the NZ Parliamentarians Group on Population and Development. $25 pp. All profits to UNIFEM New Zealand.		Edit
March 13 , 2010Wellington Preloved Fashion Sale
Join us at the 6th annual pre loved fashion sale to be held a 9am- noon, 13 March 2010, Wellington Methodist Parish New Hall, 75 Taranaki Street, Wellington. Proceeds from the sale will go to the New Horizons for Women Trust and Wellington's Change Makers Refugee Women. Donations of clothing including shoes and scarfs welcome.
